I am constantly amazed at the number of managers that persist with a manual approach to recruitment when today’s technology (the Internet aligned with clever software) can really save huge money on the recruitment process, plus helping you avoid hiring a horror story.

It is so time consuming and highly inefficient asking candidates to email you a CV. Spending several hours trawling through hundreds of CV is enough to do anyone’s head in. In fact most managers tend to start out diligently reading the CVs, but quickly revert to scanning randomly selected ones, opting to select a group of candidates to interview based on poor and/or biased information.
